I've noticed that, back then, riders relied on phone numbers that are printed on the packages in order to notify the buyers of their deliveries. But now that Shopee removed the buyers' phone numbers from the packages for 'Buyer Privacy', this all went into chaos; The riders are now walking aimlessly at their destinations looking for people who knew the buyer of the package so they can call them, or just gave it straight to the nearest person who knows the buyer. This had happened to me three times now and I don't know how many times others have to go through the same. They really need to find some way to improve their contact system so that buyers can come and collect their orders quickly like before; I'm worried if this would increase the risk of package theft even with the photo confirmation. Edit 11/11/21: Turns out that my phone's SIM 2 slot malfunctioned and wouldn't receive text and calls. I'm able to receive texts again after putting my SIM into the SIM 1 slot. Hopefully I can receive calls from the riders now. :Y
