Shopee Express sent a text message to my number at 8:27AM saying that they will deliver my parcel 4/6/22. I replied politely asking what time they will deliver my parcel and told them that I need to know the time so I can wait for them to arrive since my job is night shift and I still need to sleep in the afternoon. I did not receive any response. I was up and kept waiting for them to text back until 3PM but to no avail. Then the rider came at 3:55PM saying he's already downstairs and wants me to receive the item. He called several times but I was no longer able to pick up the phone for I was already asleep. Then another text message came in (which by the way I was able to read it at 6:29PM when I woke up) and the rider said: Last call and if I won't pick up, he will then return my item and he will not come back to deliver it. I replied to his text message and told him that I was waiting for him to reply on my first text message so I can wait for him to arrive yet no response and that I was already asleep when he came. The rider is very RUDE and his name is "NEIL". He sent me another text message saying that HE WILL ASK SHOPEE TO BAN MY ACCOUNT. HE EVEN SAID HE IS VERY TIRED AND WHY I WANT HIM TO COME BACK AND FORTH TO DELIVER MY PARCEL (it is their job to deliver the parcels, maybe not the same day but the next). As a shopee buyer, I contacted Shopee support and took a screenshot of the rider's text messages and they apologized. The damaged has been done though. Shopee Express' head in cebu city called and apologized however, the rider who delivered my parcel did not. Not until I told the other guy he shouldn't apologize but the rider himself. So he handed the phone to him and he apologized and said he will go back tonight to deliver my parcel but it was too late. I no longer want to deal business with that person! This is not my first rodeo in buying things thru Shopee so I know how tiring it is for the riders to deliver parcels and I understand where he is coming from but he should not bring his temper out to his customers like that. Businesses will be closed because of employees like NEIL who acts as if he is the boss! Hope this incident will not happen to other customers. I never had any issues with delivery men who delivers parcels except this very arrogant and attitude man!
