I’ve been ordering online for years now, and most of my parcels/packages where under Ninjavan and this courier never disappoints me not until today that i experienced something that unexplainable. Today, i was expecting that my parcel will be delivered at home but then it happens that i am currently working away from home and i just told my sister and mum that my parcel will be delivered anytime today and in my surprise, my mum called me and told me that the courier doesnt want to release my parcel because he needed my presence and i should be the one to receive it PERSONALLY, so i told mum to give the phone to him. As i talked to him, he insisted that my mum and/or my sister are not allowed to receive the parcel and only me who can receive it, and if i want to receive it without my presence, i need to show an AUTHORIZATION LETTER WITH MY ID/s …NOTE: :my parcel is already PAID(NON COD) and to be precised that item is just a CHLORINE not that really expensive nor an item that needed to be on hold or needed an strict requirement. I was shocked coz i never experienced this before and aside from that, i work in a Hotel/condominium and as a receptionist, i always receive parcels of our guest/home owners from ninjavan everyday but they never require such thing whenever they deliver it. I tried to call and text their branch hotline that is located nearby us to ask an explanation about it but i cant reach them nor receive any response. As the courier told me that their company became strict of the requirement/s then you should atleast indicate in your text message about those like “please prepare an Authorization letter and Valid ID if someone else receive it” before delivering our parcels or better if you apply that STRICT RULE OF YOURS to every parcels that will be delivered. No hate, but i just felt more disappointed when i tried to call and ask for explanation but no one is catering my concern.
