Why are you ordering your receiver in the Philippines to call DHL Malaysia to confirm the item that was sent, shouldn't that work be done by DHL to DHL, and you are still saying that the item that was sent will be forfeited in 7 days when DHL does not call sender to DHL Receiver. If the ITEM is forfeited, who will it go to? The item is already in Manila, but you haven't delivered it yet, you can talk to the receiver. I hope it's not that difficult, it's expensive to send you, it's still a headache.

They do not forward immediately the necessary documents to the respective agencies for clearance. It takes them more than a week to just process/forward the said documents. VERY SLOW. Not recommended for shipping perishable goods.

But not easy to find if you're not familiar with NAIA terminal or Villamor Air Base..... Limited parking Service is considerable although need improvement Especially handling customers........
